Mini Post: Cure –
By Wayne Halm –
Okay, “Cure” might be a bit strong – but I did get some relief from “Restless Neck Syndrome”.
On October 2nd 2016 I played the Puakea Golf Course with my Koloa Landing buddies Matt Kleefison and Kevin Pemberton. We had done this before … we knew how to have FUN.

.
I had a good day. Maybe it was the great buddies, maybe the Scotch Whiskey treatment, or maybe the good breakfast at Hookipa Café … but Restless Neck Syndrome did not affect me this day. I saw the club strike the ball most every shot and was happy with the results. Well, not so much with my putting.

My putting needs more help. Yeah, I missed this birdie putt – but let’s chalk it up to inexperience, I seldom hit this green. Normally I subconsciously pull the ball safely away from the water.
.
Still, we were out to have a good time on a golf course … and we did. We had more laughs than putts. This was the way golf should be.
I have a 2016 goal of playing golf with 100 people I haven’t met. I can’t count Matt and Kevin again, we’ve played before. So far I’ve played with 38 people I hadn’t met. Want to be in that number?
Come play golf with me.

Wayne,
Having fun on the golf course is the real goal of playing. You definitely are leading the way. Hope you are cured forever!
Cheers
Jim
Aloha Jim,
“Cured forever” sure sounds nice – however, I will probably startle people at my funeral by lifting my head. (But that could be fun too.)
A Hui Hou,
Wayne
