Mini Post: Deck Rebuild –

By Wayne Halm –

The storm was over but everything was way too wet to do much.

I decided to use this day for a little ‘mid-project’ cleanup.  Okay, Sally might have had something to do with that decision.

Yeah, it was sort of time – even an old guy could see that.

After cleanup. It’s not perfect, but hey I’m a guy, and it is better.

The Mean Green Machine and I also got in another trip to Home Depot (the folks there are getting to know us by name).

This fancy truck is still doing the job!

Check back tomorrow and see what I do with all that new wood.

Then — Come play golf with me.

  1. Aloha Wayne,

Hopefully the weather starts to cooperate so you can wrap things up, but it’s looking solid! I’m sure Sally is impressed thus far (except with the mess).

To reply to the comment from your other post – yes, Beth and I will be in Maui from Jan 9th to the 24th. Along with her sister, brother-in-law, and cousin…of those three, only her bro-in-law is a golfer. What is it like getting from island to island? If we can find something affordable, hopping over to play a round a Kauai Lagoons isn’t out of the question!

    Cheers
    Josh
