Round Played: with Jim Nance and Brian Peters –
By Wayne Halm –
Sometimes the FUN just keeps growing –
On March 29th 2015 I played the Kauai Lagoons course with Jim Nance from Parker, Colorado and Brian Peters from Castle Rock, Colorado. These are great guys and it was the start of a great day. (Click on the pictures for a larger view – then use the browser ‘back’ button.)
.
.
My friend Linda White from San Marcos, California came along and rode with me.
.
On the third hole a single, Zeb Timmons from Scottsdale, Arizona, caught up and joined us for the rest of the round.
.
Yeah, I was happy about this, we were setup well for a really fun round.
.
These guys were fun to be around. We were striking the ball well and truly enjoying our day on the course.
.

But of course we came to the 5th hole – Linda took this picture of our smiling faces before our tee shots.
.
.
Linda had read my blog and commented that there were not enough action shots of me – she was determine to change that.
.
.
.
.
Of course out by the ocean I made everyone pause for pictures. We were playing pretty well and at first the guys didn’t want to stop – but they warmed to the idea.

Jim, Brian, Zeb, and I were happy golfers – we were all scoring well. Then we came to the 18th hole and ran out of steam. Anyone watching would have thought we were trying to fill up the lagoon with golf balls – it happens. ‘Disappointing’ Linda called it.

18 ruined out scores but not our moods. The two in the center made impressive one-putts when they finally got to the green
.
This was another fun day on the golf course, new buddies and new stories to tell. It was the way golf should be.
.
Come play golf with me.

Aloha Wayne,
Love the action shots, you still get that club into a good position my man! And your golf wardrobe game was firing on all cylinders, despite the golf game blowing a cylinder on 18. It happens!
Cheers
Josh
Aloha Josh,
You are a kind man. The lead frequently changes hands on 18 at Kauai Lagoons. I got a good aerial shot of it this week, I’ll try to work it into my next post. I’m still a happy man.
A Hui Hou,
Wayne
