Round Played: with Roger and Jill Schurig –

On February 23rd 2015 I played the Kauai Lagoons course with Roger and Jill Schurig from Greensboro, Georgia. Our Oahu Buddy, Terry Yawata, joined us. (Click on the pictures for a larger view – then use the browser ‘back’ button.)

Since Sally gave me a new outfit for Valentine’s Day, Priscella dressed me in golf fashion on this day. I love my ‘simple’ life.
Again ‘Thank You’ to everyone who responded to my Fashion Advice Needed post. You helped to keep my life ‘simple’.
This was a dynamic and fun group. Someone was always teasing someone. Here Jill is laughing at the ‘short knockers’.
Maybe her tee box did give her an advantage – but ‘longest down the fairway’ still entitled her to laugh – suck it up guys.
The teasing and laughter continued unabated. Roger and Terry tried to get big hitter Jill to try this shot.
They tried, but Jill was not about to give up her advantage.
All the teasing was fun, but the guys really needed to do something. Out by the Ocean they got together and really began pressing Jill for a break.
Terry and Roger tried logic on her.
Roger even tried romancing her.
But Jill was having none of it.
She continued to make good use of her ‘red tee advantage’.
I told the guys that I would make them the ‘stars’ of the 16th tee picture. That put smiles on their faces.

There were three very good putts on the 16th green. (My putt? – Well, there wasn’t room for me in the picture anyway.)

This round was the way golf should be – good shots – good times – and more laughs than putts.

Someone has to have all the fun in the family. This was a special day because after 20 years Terry finally got to meet Wayne, and clients of days past finally got to meet Wayne. Life is just a circle!

From the clubhouse – around the course – back to the clubhouse. I like the circles I travel in. Terry, Roger, and Jill are a lot of fun – I’m glad I got to meet them – this was a good day.
