Round Played: with Holly Marshall and Sylvia Rascon –

California girls just want to have FUN –
On November 23rd 2014 I played the Holly Marshall and Sylvia Rascon from San Diego, California. Holly played with me and Sylvia cheered us on.

Fun was our objective – and by the third hole we were well on our way. The smiles came out.
Holly and Sylvia – yeah, we were getting into the fun thing.
Wayne — Sylvia wanted to show that I was having fun too.
On the 5th tee box, when Holly realized that the red tees were on the other side of the canyon, her smile really grew.

As it turned out, this was another ‘putter holiday’ – they just didn’t work very much. (I wish I could find a calendar with ‘putter holidays’ marked, I would stay home and write on those days.)
Neither of our putters showed much signs of life.
But a cold putter didn’t bother Holly much – She found a new friend.
Any awkwardness we may have felt at just meeting disappeared by the time we got to the ocean, we were into fun – smiles were everywhere.
Even California girls are happy to pose before these beautiful vistas.
Maybe Holly was smiling partly because this wasn’t her tee box.
We paused for a picture before the Marriott time-shares they were staying in – then quickly move on to see what happened to our shots to the next green.

Of course I took a picture on the 16th tee before that adventure began. It’s always good to have this picture in case the ‘adventure’ gets out of hand.

The adventure did not get out of hand – but it came close.
The 16th green is a reward in itself. We didn’t make our par putts – but just being there makes you happy.

Mission Accomplished – We set out to have a fun day on the golf course – and we certainly did. But honestly, with these two California girls – it was easy.
