Round Played: with Jim Grasty –

By Wayne Halm –

The PGA didn’t invite us to play this week.  So we went out on the course to have fun – and we did.

On October 12th 2014 I played the Kauai Lagoons course with Jim Grasty from Sacramento, California.  Two guys out to have a good time and determined to have more laughs than putts – some goals are good.

The weather was perfect, the course fairly full, and the pace of play leisurely – all of which worked well for us.

Playing as a two-some we didn’t feel the need to rush – there was plenty of time to talk.  This was good because we both have backgrounds in the stock brokerage industry and there were plenty of stories to tell.

There was also time for pictures.  The pace was so leisurely that a woman playing behind us even took a picture for us.

This was a good round, we posted some good scores, took our pictures, told our stories, and yes, we had more laughs than putts – all in four hours and ten minutes.

The PGA missed out this week  –  this was Golf the way it should be.

Come play golf with me.
